i’m not chemically depresesed (as far as i’m aware), i’m outgoing and have a great well-paying job with a great work-life balance in a great city (nyc), yet struggle to have a “successful” dating life, i feel like everyone else met their life partner, nothing is working out for me 😦 Quora Questions.
Well, the current dating scenario is indeed complicated. There’s never a guarantee that any relationship or marriage will last. And more than the “lasting” nature of relationship what’s important is compatibility, love and happiness factors.
Well, is success is something with a deadline? Or love with a deadline?
Like, in sports, such as football there’s time limit, whoever scores most goals in an hour and a half wins. Many times people equate with life with such measures to consider their success or happiness, which is unhelpful.
I say never quit on yourself at least till you are 60.
Many people found love after 30 s, many people became a success after 50 s.
If you had or have set a deadline for finding your life partner, then yes if it’s gonna be frustrating if you haven’t found one by that time.
One of the approach is take effective and concrete actions each day or week to meet new people, go on dates, explore and learn from your relationships and then make the decision to consider for a life partner.
Best of luck!
